Terms & Conditions-Dog walking field

General Use

• The field is for private hire only and must be booked in advance.

• Only the person making the booking (the “hirer”) is responsible for all dogs and people attending.

• Use of the field is entirely at your own risk.

Dog Requirements

• All dogs must be fully vaccinated and in good health.

• Dogs must be under control at all times.

• Aggressive or dangerous dogs must not be brought onto the field.

• Puppies must have completed their vaccinations before attending.

Supervision

• Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Number of Dogs

• A maximum number of dogs per booking may apply (e.g. 4–6 dogs unless agreed in advance).

• Professional dog walkers must declare this at booking and may be subject to separate terms.

Field Safety

• The hirer must check fencing, gates, and surroundings before letting dogs off lead.

• Any damage or faults must be reported immediately.

• Gates must be securely closed at all times.

• CCTV in operation for safety

Waste & Cleanliness

• All dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in the bins provided.

• The field must be left clean and tidy after use.

Arrival & Departure

• Do not arrive early—wait until your allotted time.

• Leave promptly to avoid overlap with other users.

• Ensure all dogs are secured before exiting your vehicle.

Liability

• The owner/operator accepts no liability for:

  • Injury to dogs, owners, or third parties

  • Loss, theft, or damage to property

• The hirer is liable for any damage caused by themselves or their dogs.

Dangerous Dogs

For the safety of all visitors, dogs and staff, any dog that is considered dangerous or presents a risk to others must not be brought onto the field.

This includes:

• Any dog that has previously shown aggression towards people or other dogs.

• Any dog that is dangerously out of control as defined under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or any subsequent legislation.

• Any dog subject to legal restrictions, exemption conditions or control orders must comply with all legal requirements whilst on the premises.

• If your dog is legally exempt under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, you must provide a copy of your valid Exemption Certificate to Dell Dogs before your visit. Failure to provide this documentation before arrival may result in your booking being cancelled or entry being refused.

Owners are fully responsible for ensuring their dog is suitable to use the field and remains under control at all times.

Dell Dogs reserves the right to refuse entry or require any person to leave immediately, without refund, if a dog displays aggressive, threatening or uncontrolled behaviour that may place other people, dogs or staff at risk.

Any incident involving a dog must be reported to Dell Dogs immediately.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made within a specified timeframe (e.g. 24–48 hours).

• Late cancellations or no-shows may not be refunded.

Weather Conditions

• Bookings go ahead in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe.

• No refunds for adverse weather unless the field is officially closed.

Prohibited Activities

• No smoking, fires, or barbecues.

• No glass items.

• No commercial activities without prior permission.

Emergencies

• In case of emergency, contact the field owner immediately.

• Basic first aid for dogs is recommended for all users.
