Dell Dogs – Terms & Conditions

General Use

• The field is for private hire only and must be booked in advance.

• The person making the booking (the “hirer”) is responsible for all dogs and people attending under their booking.

• Use of the field and facilities is entirely at your own risk.

• By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Dog Health & Vaccination Requirements

• All dogs attending the field must be fully vaccinated and in good health at the time of booking and at the time of their visit.

• Dogs must not attend the field if they are unwell, showing symptoms of illness, or suffering from any contagious or infectious condition.

• This includes, but is not limited to, kennel cough, vomiting, diarrhoea, respiratory infections, or other illnesses that could be transmitted to other dogs.

• If your dog becomes unwell or develops a contagious illness, including kennel cough, after you have made your booking, you must notify Dell Dogs as soon as possible and before attending the field.

• Under no circumstances should a dog with suspected or confirmed kennel cough or another contagious illness be brought onto the field.

• Dell Dogs reserves the right to refuse entry to any dog that appears unwell or may pose a health risk to other dogs.

• Puppies must have completed their required vaccinations before attending.

• Owners are responsible for ensuring that their dogs are fit and well enough to use the field safely.

Dog Behaviour & Control

• Dogs must be kept under control at all times.

• Aggressive or dangerous dogs must not be brought onto the field.

• Owners are responsible for the behaviour and safety of their dogs throughout their visit.

Supervision

• Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.

• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

• The hirer is responsible for ensuring that all members of their party follow these Terms & Conditions.

Number of Dogs

• A maximum number of dogs per booking may apply, unless agreed in advance.

• Professional dog walkers must declare this at the time of booking and may be subject to separate terms and conditions.

• Any additional dogs or changes to the booking must be agreed with Dell Dogs in advance.

Field Safety

• The hirer must check the fencing, gates and surrounding area before allowing dogs off lead.

• Any damage, defects or faults must be reported to Dell Dogs immediately.

• Gates must be securely closed at all times.

• Please do not attempt to repair or alter any fencing, gates or equipment.

• CCTV is in operation for safety and security purposes.

Waste & Cleanliness

• All dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in the bins provided.

• The field must be left clean and tidy after every booking.

• Any litter or other waste brought onto the premises must be removed or disposed of appropriately.

Arrival & Departure

• Please do not arrive before your allocated booking time. Wait until your booked time before entering the field.

• Please leave promptly at the end of your booking to avoid overlap with other users.

• All dogs must be safely secured before being allowed out of your vehicle.

• Please ensure the gate is securely closed when entering and leaving the field.

Liability

• Use of the field is entirely at the hirer's own risk.

• To the extent permitted by law, Dell Dogs accepts no liability for:

  • Injury, illness or death of any dog, owner, visitor or third party.

  • Loss, theft or damage to personal property, vehicles or other belongings.

  • Any incident arising from the behaviour of a dog.

• The hirer is responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their party or their dogs.

• Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Dangerous Dogs

For the safety of all visitors, dogs and staff, any dog that is considered dangerous or presents a risk to others must not be brought onto the field.

This includes:

• Any dog that has previously shown aggression towards people or other dogs.

• Any dog that is dangerously out of control as defined under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, or any subsequent legislation.

• Any dog subject to legal restrictions, exemption conditions or control orders must comply with all applicable legal requirements whilst on the premises.

If your dog is legally exempt under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, you must provide Dell Dogs with a copy of the valid Exemption Certificate before your visit. Failure to provide this documentation before arrival may result in your booking being cancelled or entry being refused.

Owners are fully responsible for ensuring that their dog is suitable to use the field and remains under control at all times.

Dell Dogs reserves the right to refuse entry or require any person to leave immediately, without refund, if a dog displays aggressive, threatening or uncontrolled behaviour that may place other people, dogs or staff at risk.

Any incident involving a dog must be reported to Dell Dogs immediately.

Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made within the specified cancellation period,48 hours before the booking.

• Late cancellations and no-shows may not be eligible for a refund.

• If your dog becomes unwell after booking, including developing kennel cough or another contagious illness, please contact Dell Dogs as soon as possible.

• Dogs suffering from contagious illness must not attend the field, even if a booking has already been made.

• Any refund or transfer offered in these circumstances will be at the discretion of Dell Dogs and subject to the applicable cancellation policy.

Weather Conditions

• Bookings will normally go ahead in most weather conditions unless Dell Dogs considers the field or surrounding area to be unsafe.

• No refunds will be provided due to adverse weather unless the field is officially closed by Dell Dogs.

• Users should make their own assessment of whether conditions are suitable for their dogs and take appropriate precautions.

Prohibited Activities

The following are not permitted:

• Smoking or vaping.

• Fires, fire pits or barbecues.

• Glass items or containers.

• Commercial activities without prior permission from Dell Dogs.

• Any activity that may damage the field, fencing or facilities.

• Any illegal activity.

Emergencies

• In the event of an emergency, contact Dell Dogs immediately.

• If necessary, contact the appropriate emergency services first.

• All users are responsible for their own safety and the safety of the people and dogs in their care.

• Basic first aid for dogs is recommended for all users.

Right to Refuse Entry

Dell Dogs reserves the right to refuse entry or terminate a booking, without refund where appropriate, if:

• A dog appears unwell or presents a potential infectious or health risk.

• A dog displays aggressive, dangerous or uncontrolled behaviour.

• The hirer or any member of their party fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

• The hirer provides false or misleading information when making a booking.

• The use of the field presents a risk to other users, dogs, staff, property or the field itself.
